I had a Twist. It's one of the pens I tried and then gave away. Its ergonomics didn't work for me since I am lefthanded.

That is too bad. I do like those neon colors a lot!

My BP order took 17 days to ship, including weekends. Then another week to hit my porch, but that was during peak shipping season and I think a "named winter storm" slowing things down.

Yeah, I know how that goes. This is my second order from them. The first one (Ohio River, Emerald Fusion and Basil Pesto) ordered October 13 arrived the 30th.  So this is maybe a day or two optimistic. We will see....

Pelikan M205 Apatite with ink (thanks Pen Boutique) should be here ... tomorrow!

Pelikan M200 Orange Delight, no ink :( Who knows when that'll show up since it was a pre-order. I'll be surprised when it finally arrives.

A Lamy AL-Star from PaperMind, with some paper and stationery, and an anniversary bottle of Aurora black

A Sailor 1911L H-M, used; price was decent and I like those 21k nibs

Majohn P-138, plus a couple of other cheap AE pens

namisu FP/BP set via Kickstarter, filled out the questionnaire today. I almost didn't buy into this, as I've been burned twice on KS.

Some ink too. I found Koh-i-Noor document blue and black, large bottles on the cheap with free international shipping.

Ugh. I got a little crazy and I’m waiting for a PENBBS 489 TD clear, a Majohn M800 purple and today I got a nice Ranga 3C in blue/black ebonite and a jowo fine nib. It’s quite nice. Last mont I got a Sheaffer Triumph from the 40’s in a second hand store and a new Nahwalur original plus, with a red nib.

Ever since I found and purchased the Levenger True Writer Kyoto on February 8, I have not bought another pen. I almost checked out an order that included a Sailor Compass HighAce Neo with 1.0mm stub nib, but didn’t follow through with it. I expected to buy the Sailor when it came back in stock. I might will still get it.

Well, I finally bought the Sailor Compass pen. The order includes mechanical pencil lead I need for a couple mechanical pencils I have, plus one I bought before going to bed. Most of my mechanical pencils use 0.5mm leads. But True Writer mechanical pencils use 0.7mm lead.

My last batch had the desired effect of dampening my purchase urges: green striped probably celluloid (it's slightly warped) Geha 760 and red wood Vanishing point; it lasted for two whole months (!) but how to refuse a Pelikan mc110 for $20 USD (+shipping + taxes = double, but still)? And then a seller made an offer for a red Geha for a very reasonable price... I have to admit I'm attracted more by the mc110's brown and chrome colour than by the calligraphy nib.

Perhaps the biggest dampener is that I finally really enjoy what I already have; it's hard not to appreciate Blue Velvet from a Midnight Sky Professional Gear M on a sunny day like today.

You had to mention it, didn't you? :D

That must really look gorgeous under clear sunlight. Congratulations, and do enjoy it, you lucky one.

I finally found a Jinhao 9016 with a bent nib available. Went with the amber. If ever a nib could make use of that big converter it's gotta be a fude, right?

Hmmmm... will be wanting a brown or sepia ink for it. A waterproof one. Choices.  Choices. 🤎

Will work for pens...

Majohn P138, supposedly out for delivery

Pelikan M200 orange, preordered with no ETA

Conklin Duragraph "Abalone Nights" stub and Benu Minima "Royal Purple" fine nib.

Please notice I've been mostly staying away from AliExpress, except for the p138. Saving soooo much by staying away from AliExpress...

The evergreen  scholar arrived yesterday as Fed-ex promised.

Evergreen is every bit as dark as dark can be. It is almost 'black'. This one has a medium number 7 nib.  The line width difference between it and a broad number 7 in my other Onotos is distinct.

I'm a happy camper.

How do you like this nib? Do you see enough line width variation between vertical and horizontal strokes? Who did the grind?
