What pen(s) are you waiting for in the mail?

@Paul-in-SF The Esterbrook Estie Raven is  being talked about on Reddit. I did a search from r/fountainpens Raven, and found several entries.

I haven’t learned how to embed a link with a single word. I looked at posts, saw how it fills. Sigh. Looks like my Edison Menlo after the pump filler failed, and I had it redone as a draw filler.  You clean pens how you fill pens. I won’t buy that style of pen again.

@Paul-in-SF As far as I know, the button filler Esterbrook is available for order even now. Is your day one pen different from current offer?

My red Kaweco Sport is tracking for tomorrow (Wednesday). It helps I ordered from Vanness in Arkansas, which borders my state Missouri on the south border. Ordered Sunday evening, arriving Wednesday. Cool!

One could always order it but it wouldn't have been fulfilled until maybe last week at the earliest.

I have three on order too. Two are from AliExpress, so it will be a bit of a wait on those.

The Maki-e one is coming from Tokyo. That'll take some time. I have the Pineiter coming tomorrow and the MB in probably a week. Maybe I can hold off until March before adding anything else? I hope.

@Baka1969 since you asked, I will do my best to post photos when they arrive. 
 

I ordered a Travelers Notebook cover on January 20 on  eBay shipping from Japan. A delivery attempt was made today. I missed it. It has a signature requirement. I’ll go get it at the Post Office tomorrow.

It puzzles me that no-one on this forum (except me, in a vain attempt to generate a conversation) seems to be talking about a pen model with a "new" filling system that sold out so fast. If it was that popular, who bought them all? If it was not that popular, did they just make a tiny number of pens, almost as prototypes to see if they would generate any interest? (Note that these are rhetorical questions, as I don't expect anyone reading this to know the answers. I am just putting my thoughts out there for my own entertainment.)

Let us know what you think.  Looking at their website, it looks suspiciously similar to the old Parker Vacumatic filler, which wouldn't be the worst idea to copy.

Here are the two pens I got today. The first photo is of a Levenger True Writer in what the seller called white marble. I won an auction from the same seller of an Esterbrook 9314-M nib (used). The next photo has the Kaweco Sport Classic in red that I ordered for the Chiefs going to the Super Bowl. In the same order, I got some Midori pads and ink.

Well the R2-D2 pen has made it to the Pittsburgh Network Distribution Center, which is about 20 minutes north of here.  The revised ETA is the 5th, but I'm still hoping for Saturday.
