What pen(s) are you waiting for in the mail?

No, in he passed quietly, far away. It wasn't until I got  no reply for a month to six weeks that I thought he passed.

Not that he ever said he was dealing with health problems outside his car.

I doubt if I'd come up with asking his estate, which I didn't know.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

I had a good Mate who I knew from high school from whom time, distance, and circumstances had caused us to lose touch with each other. I only found out that he had passed away months earlier when a mutual friend mentioned that he had died. I think it is more painful that happens.

I just ordered from Akkerman in the Hague a limited edition Jonathon Brooks Leonardo Momento Zero Grande 2.0.  It is simply stunning!

My first gold nib pen should arrive in two weeks: used Pilot Custom 74 (EF).

So far no buyers remorse unlike my other eBay purchases for my other hobbies, but I'm already looking at the next pair of pens that I want: Platinum 3776 Force: Darth Vader, and Force: Luke Skywalker.

I finally received the lacquered Aurora Hastil. It has a rotating nib, which should not be a problem, but I'm having difficulty trying to fit an specific cartridge or its specific Trik-Trak converter. Which is making me ponder if both issues might be related.

If you are to be ephemeral, leave a good scent.

Pray for me.

From more recent things I've seen/read on the Internet, apparently it's not that bad with most modern pens. And a weak bleach solution is your friend if you do see some issues.

Argh! I saw a bargain on a 3776 with a soft fine nib. (No, it's not the Star Wars 3776's I'm eyeing, though.) Now I'm waiting for that pen in the mail as well.

Still, I might use it as an excuse to buy a Pelikan M215.

I was a fool 'gold nib snob', but a now passed pal in England, wanted me to trans-mail 200's nibs or pens becuse some Germans refuse to mail outside of Germany.

I wanted that nib, but was still snobby...pre owning a slew of 200's, so I latched onto a 215, which having a brass body is a heavier pan than the 200/400-600 and perhaps 800.

Picture borrowed....from Dominic Rothemel. It's not often I talk about my 215, and really got to bug my wife to make a picture. I don't have nor need a handy.

I do like that classic tear drop nib tipping of the pre-98 nibs, and the 200's which i raved about until they went away from a nice clean line of the tear drop tipping to that use a ball point double ball nibs about 5 years ago. No longer the clean line.

Back then they were making all three types Lonzenges, rings and rectangles.

One has too many pens when such a nice one gets used so little.

I just won my first ebay auction this evening (I was the only bid) so now I’m awaiting a 2015 Lamy al-star in copper orange.  I had an extra z57 nib that needed a pen and I think the orange al-star will look great with the black nib.  I guess I’ll know for sure in a few days.

Kaweco Dia 2, Chrome trim, medium nib.  I was going to buy one in January, but Cult Pens had a flash sale...................

A Sheaffer No Nonsense calligraphy set and Speedball Auto Feed set, both coming from a seller in the US; and a Ritter 253 safety pen winging its way to me from Croatia.

I recently got a TWSBI Vac700R with 1.1mm stub nib and I’ve been bit by the stub/italic bug. Currently waiting for an ASC Studio in Brown Antelope with Rhodium trim, medium 14k nib reground to cursive italic, and a Leonardo Momento Zero Grande 2.0 in Girasole, CSI from medium steel nib.

Me too! I'm waiting for a Chartres SF. I suspect it might come with an ink sample gratis :)
