Can I remove this emblem?

I got a good condition Cross ballpoint pen. But I have a bit dissatisfaction about that Canon emblem. Can I remove it?

If removed, I think it will result in having two holes in the clip where the emblem was attached. This is based on other photos I've seen.

I don't think that emblem would stand up to a sander, so, in all seriousness, you can; but you may also just make things ‘worse’ with regard to your dissatisfaction with the pen as-is.

I removed an emblem from one of these pens and it left two noticeable holes in the clip.  Since the clip was silver I filled and sanded the holes with solder.  It looked better but still was off.  At one time when Cross repaired pens you could send it back and have the whole clip replaced.  Maybe you can find a damaged pen on eBay with a good top and switch out the top of the pen.
