Montblanc 149 75th Anniversary LE Rose Gold Plating Repair

Hello,

I am hoping to get some direction. I purchased a used 75th anniversary Montblanc 149. About a 2 weeks ago I noticed that a small piece of the rose gold flaked off of the nib near the breather hole. Does anyone know of someone that I can reach out to that can completely re-plate the nib. I understand MB did a really bad job on plating these nibs so I would like to get it re-done so that I don't have to worry about it in the future.

I’d call or take it to a Montblanc Boutique store. See what they say. I’d think they could repair or more likely replace the nib for you.

I made the mistake of using their web site to submit for repair. They sent me a box and it went to a third part repair person. I haven't received it back but I highly doubt the issue will be fixed. I will have to take it physically into a Montblac storefront as you are recommending.
