Need help identifying vintage pen

Recommended Posts

I bought this pen in an antique mall in Yakima about three weeks ago. With the cap on it’s about four inches long. Posted about five and a half. Without the cap it’s about three inches long. The pen was in poor shape when I bought it, and I had to replace the ink sac to get it working, and clean up quite a bit of old dried ink. The spots on the nib all appear to be corrosion. The only identifying markings I could find are on the nib. Pictures are included.

Can you post what the nib says? It’s hard to see in the photo. The material is beautiful, regardless of make, I hope it’s a good writer for you.

It’s a great writer. There’s a spot of corrosion obscuring the first letter, but I think it says “DURIUM” and “4”

 That’s all I found.

I have a couple of those myself.  Quite common, actually.
