Vinta Sea Kelp--Leyte 1944

I bought a sample of this ink as part of my search for the perfect spring green. I was about to give up as summer came up but I'm glad I didn't stop too early.

I'm really like this ink. It shades well and has a lot of depth.

Thanks for showing us this ink too.

This is the type of color - a summery green - is one that I'm happy to have a single bottle of (I don't have this one but a similar color from Poezie) but no more than that. :D

I'm curious - you use the word 'murky' in your conclusion. For you, is this a murky color ink?

Nice!  Thanks again, @dragondazd!  This green is more up my alley and I think it's on my list of inks to sample - next year. ;)  Shading is a big plus for me, and whether murky or spring-y, I'll probably like it.

@PithyProlix I do consider it murky in that while not brown, it is complex in the dark areas.i expect to see a lot of color and some texture in washes.

@LizEF I've seen some shading on some papers with the President in EF and hope you see it too!

Thank you for showing this beautiful green - hadn’t heard about this ink brand before. These yellow-green inks never fail to please me.

I get them from Vanness. I liked most of the samples I've tried and loved a few of them. The one big disappointment is how much the shimmer sheds.
