Sailor Procolor Hisaketa Four Seasons Sakura now $18

I have all the four Procolor Hiaketa pens representing the four seasons. If you like a Japanese fine nib, these are some of the best made, best writing, steel nibbed pens you can get.  I have never seen the price this low.  This is a very light blue-pink, almost white, a lovely color.

PS:  These are the best steel nib pens made my Sailor, and a significant step above the Profit Jr. and the Lecoule. They feature a different, more premium, slightly springy nib and the experience is very close to that of Sailor 14k nibs.  They also don't dry out after long periods of non-use due to an inner cap, which is lacking in the more basic models.  They are typically only available in Fine.  Retails in the usual pen shops for over $60.  This makes the $18 deal a steal.

Thank you! Amazon JP won't ship to Australian delivery addresses, even if I was prepared to pay for shipping, but this seller apparently does.

Glad you got it!  Price is now the normal $159.  I have to think the $80 was an error.  I also bought it, and now we will see if the item is actually shipped.

I grabbed one of the $80 21k Sailor deals last month.  It only lasted for a few minutes before the price changed.  Since it is fulfilled by Amazon, it arrived in 2 days and was absolutely spectacular.  Excellent writer.

I also snagged a Platinum Procyon for $25, and a Platinum Curidas for $28 from the same seller last month. Worth watching this seller.

I now have a sneaking suspicion that the description is incorrect, and the pen will arrive in Australia with the “wrong” nib factory-fitted on it. The suffix -320 is for Medium-Fine nib and not Fine nib (which should be -220).

Yes, but this seller is also selling the medium with the part number -420, which should be broad.  Mine arrives Tuesday and I'll let you know.

I just cancelled my order. Reading the reviews, it seems everyone received the -320 model fitted with MF nibs.

By the way, the Hisakata Sakura has now dropped to US$18.

Odd. I see 231 in title and product description

@lascosas and I were talking about a different pen there, and not the Hisakata Sakura.

And Smug Dill, I did misspeak about the pen part numbers.  I will let you know what arrives Tuesday.  I have enough Sailors to figure out what is going on with this suspiciously inexpensive pen.  Oddly, while some people complained about what they received, this seller has a 100% lifetime positive rating on Amazon.

@lascosas I look forward to your discovery and feedback. I ordered the silver trim version (and with a -220 model number) for a bit more, just now, along with two Hisakata Sakura pens. The US$18 pen isn't such a good deal if I have to add >US$10 shipping to Australia for just one, and then pay 10% tax on top of the total transaction value; but, combining shipping with other pens make the out-of-pocket expense per pen a bit more palatable.

I bought the originally listed pen. I had wanted a Compass before seeing a lot of disappointing reviews. This seems like a safer bet all around.

Agedandfine-

Sorry I hijacked your thread, but I didn't want to start a new thread when there was only one pen available.

Dragondazd-

As long as you like Japanese fine nibs with the Sailor feedback, the steel nibs in the four season and 500 series pens are excellent, and at this price?  An incredible deal.
