My current flex pens

Pamp

Recommended Posts

I thought I would share my flex pens with you. It was the first time I had taken a picture of all of them together. I'm a little obsessed with flex pens because I love modern script calligraphy. Here is the post I made, if you'd like to see it.

Thank you for showing us the pictures. We'd love to see more of them.

For everyone's edification:

While the following forum rule is not strictly or often enforced, one should take note of it anyway:

In a subject discussed on The Fountain Pen Network, links to other sites (including links to Blogs) may only be posted by approved and paying Premium Account Holders.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I'm so sorry. I thought I knew the rules, but I definitely missed that one. My apologies again. (Is it ok to put my blog address in my signature?)

I understand. I'm sorry for messing up. I had used links before, so I thought it was ok. I haven't been around for a super long time. But I realize ignorance isn't an excuse.

Not to worry...

Back to flex pens, I have several...sorry no photos...all vintage: 1940s Eversharp Skyline. (a wet noodle), 1928 Redipoint (very flexible), 1935 Parker Parkette (flexible), and two 1930s Majestic pens with quite nice semi-flexible 14k nibs.  I need to use these pens more as they make mediocre handwriting look good.

I have an interest in pens with some to much flex.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

I think I see a few Fountain Pen Revolution pens.  I have the Himalaya 2 with the steel EF Ultra Flex and just love it.

Yes, I have several FPR pens!  All with the EF Ultra Flex nib. They're my favorites. My Himalaya V2 is one of my absolute favorites, as well as the Jaipur V2.  I love them so much.

I really love my pens from Fountain Pen Revolution with the #6 ultra flex nib (Himalaya V2 with ultra flex nib and Jaipur V2 with ultra flex nib.) I also love my Jaipur V1 with the #5.5 ultra flex nib. It's slightly less flexible, but only slightly.
