LAMY limited Edition 2006“ Keramik, ball point

Recommended Posts

My wife went to a Saturday afternoon inside flea market, this afternoon. We had 8-10 years ago won a newspaper factory tour of the local neighborhood Lamy Factory. (Some 15 minute drive away) We have a few Lamy ball points so she had an idea that they cost more than her very good deal for a Lamy Ball point....in a case even.

Pictures from someone else.

So at home it was discovered.................LAMY „Edition 2006“ Keramik, ball point, world wide 7,500 St. A quick look showed :yikes:prices.

2006 Lamy 2000 Sonderausgabe Jubiläum ceramicon PLATIN KugelschreiberLAMY „Edition 2006“ Keramik, Kugelschreiber Weltweit 7.500 St. in Freising

The above guy wants E350 pick up at his house.

.

Two others were offered for E 412,58 (350 pounds,) and someone else wanted just E-927.97.

Of course mine is missing that little Lamy tag around the clip.....:crybaby: Just joking....... My number is under 400....not that that really matters.

It will be put deep into the dark of the drawer....you betcha.

Does anyone have an idea what it had cost new?

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Such a find! Your are very lucky to get your hands on a limited edition Lamy ballpoint, I never heard of it, could it have been a Germany edition only?

Anne Sophie, I don't think so, in there were 7,500 of them made.

Normally I'm much more interested in fountain pen than BP's so out side of perhaps some MB's in sets never even thought of Limited Edition when it came to ball points.

I don't even think of Pelikan ball points.....and I do have a couple of '50-60's MP&BP's. The MP is the best MP I've ever used. By accident I picked the 450  up and stopped hating MP's. For six weeks I stopped using fountain pens. It wasn't until I ran out of lead and had to figure out how to reload, that I went back to fountain pens.

The 455 is the typical problem '50's ball point, like one use to repair in 3rd grade in class with ones Jack Knife.

Ball points have come a long, long way from then.

It appears there are just as many crazy ball point collectors as there are fountain pen collectors.

Never seen a Pelikan MP, need to head into the brand forum, but if they have a purple demonstrator with silver clip, I am done with.

MPs are the best when one needs to write and write and write... Which in those covid, monkey pox and heatwaves times is healthier than trying to recreate fellow FPN members meals

The Pelikan 450...is a green stripped top, black bottom.Sammlerobjekt - Pelikan Drehbleistift 450

And the price has doubled since I got mine for worth E-35 almost 15 years ago.

Do not waste your money on a 455 ball point.....there must be much better later Pelikan ball points.

Unless you have a need to have a '50's ball point and experience the normal teething problems of a '50's ball point.

From Jotter times, back in the late '50's on, I hated mechanical pencils. Even had my P-75 little brother BP/MP that came with a mechanical lead cartridge instead of the Jotter re-fill.

Still have that cartridge stuck away.

I don't know how many I had, in school, but if they were lost or stolen didn't much care. I like regular pencils more. There were more than just a Jotter, but what ever I had was on the cheap side.

The Pelikan 450 is a late '50's MP. Got great balance......otherwise I'd not freaked out and wrote with it for 6 weeks straight.

One of these days I got to go down to my M&B and take a look at the new Pelikan MP's. Just for the hell of it.

I would fall, maybe for the fountain pen, in purple demonstrator with silver fittings but, not the ballpoint or mp, here, Lamy, yet again, has given me a nice collection of different colors BP & MP, at a reasonable price.

A few weeks ago, I took it down to my B&M to ask, and one of the older women workers took a good look at it and told me of the top of her head, new...

E 250...................which was then and is now a fortune for a ball point. So it was no wonder she remembered the price.

Hey BoBo, youze a sumgai! A very nice acquisition. Looks stunning and got all its paperwork. Must admit I'm a bit jealous as I have a good collection of Lamys but unless I get your kind of luck, this is one pen I probably won't ever have in my pen tray.

Too many pens, too little time!

Congratulations!! Great find. Last week I’ve found a Lamy 2000 Titanium (2009 limited edition) “forgotten” in a small, local pen shop. I paid 165 €.

Congratulations.....there appears to be much more to LE ball point's than I ever realized.

LAMY imporium imporium   E360:yikes:**         LAMY accentaccent 110ELAMY 20002000...E180LAMY-269-studio-darkbrown-KS-shop-int_27Studio E59, and still very expensive to someone who lived a generation on free ball points.

LAMY scalaScala E-110LAMY cp1CP 1 E-36, LAMY logoLogo, more my price range, E-8.50LAMY xevoxevo..7.90

There are more but this is for me shockingly high ball point prices. I tend to max out on a real good used/vintage.

** I have a 1990 Lamy Persona that looks similar to the Imporium in both were designs by the same man, and the Persona was picked over the Imporium, I am very impressed by the almost semi-flex but only 2X soft nib of the Imporium.

My Persona cost E90 back when I was grumbling about paying E-50-70, so as 'nie' as it is and near matching.....it's a ball point I'll never get.

Don't see a reason to use my E-5 Lamy either.:P
