I'm thinking of getting a Pelikan M200/205, but I have questions

I'm using the Sailor Sei-boku ink in my M200. This ink is waterproof. I never had issues with the ink flow.

I have several M200/M205's in nib sizes F, M, B, OB and BB. Never a problem with a single one. The OB is in a "old style" W. Germany Blue Marbled and was bought previously owned. The BB in a M205 DUO. F (and a replacement B ) for a Cognac, M in a Brown Marbled, B in a Gold Marbled. Those four were purchased new. I don't often match ink color to pen, but will on occasion. The only "permanent" ink I use regularly is Pelikan 4001 Blue Black (which is a mild iron gall formulation according to Pelikan's website), but it found a constant home in my vintage 140. (14k F)

The Fine in the Cognac is finer than I like, and I broke down and bought a B for it which is in it currently. Pelikan nibs are something I wouldn't generally go switching back and forth between other brands as they are not in and of themselves "compatible" with non Pelikan pens. I have when I wanted to ink up say the Brown Marbled, but wanted to use a different nib- say the OB for example. The M200/M205 nibs WILL fit in the M400 line of pens and old style M600's (I believe as the three pens are the same physical sixze). But why would I? My M600 old style has an 18k nib, my M400 a 14k nib. But I could.

adding my two cents.... i have several Pelikans including a 205 that I have had for many years and it is inked 100% of the time.  It gets regular but not daily use and has a medium steel nib.  For the most part it has Aonibi in it which is generally regarded as drier and I have had zero issues of any sort with it or the pen.  I can pick it up after several days and it writes on the first stroke every time (as do all my Pelikans).
