It says Waterman, but I can’t find this type anywhere…is it missing parts maybe?

I am not sure...maybe a Waterman Gladiator pen? and your pens was made around 1980-90's years...

Found it! Thanks to your reply, I found it amongst the results: it’s a Waterman Daytona from the 1980’s!

From the photos there is nothing missing from you pen. They were student pens  with a smooth and hard nib.They use long or short Waterman Cartridges.
