Classic Century 14kt GF Pencil Broken

Can anybody give an advice?

I got a used Classic Century 14kt GF Pencil which is broken. Twisting doesn't bring the lead out.

Opening it, a few parts fell out - see the picture upper pen.

The small dark part seems to be the cap of a tube. Looking into the barrel, I see an open tube.

It looks quite different from the normal Classic Century - see the picture lower pen.

If you have the same pen, could you please open it and take a photo to show me how it should look, thank you.

Contacted Cross and got the following answer:

"We’re extremely disappointed that we can’t repair your Item. Like many global companies, Cross is significantly impacted by ongoing COVID-19-related disruptions to the supply of specific precious metals and related components, hence we decided to exclusively honor mechanical issues by replacement. You may want to visit a local pen or jewelry store for possible repair of your item at your own cost. Currently warranty claims are taking up to 12 weeks to process."
