Is this nib correct for this pen?

I have a Sheaffer oversize flattop, with white dot on the top of the cap. When I got it, it was (and still is) fitted with a Sheaffer LIfetime two-toned nib. I am wondering if this is the correct nib for the pen. I don't know when Sheaffer introduced the two-toned nib. Please advise. Here's a link to a picture of the pen/nib.

The two-tone nib was introduced in the second half of 1931. It may be uncommon on a flattop but not necessarily wrong, I think. It has been suggested that Sheaffer sold their flattop pens until the late 1930s.

That is a late flattop - note the lowered clip and the ring retained lever - so a two toned nib could be expected.
