Original Rotring 600 Fountain Pen

Recommended Posts

Had this pen in a draw for years, finally got a convertor for it. The nib is a medium but for me, writes more like a fine. The ink flow is sweet, the pen is well balanced as well as being properly engineered. Anyone else have experience or opinions of this pen?

I had my eye on these on eBay for a while. I really like the look, and I love the Rotring mechanical pencils that I have. I never bought one because they are little bit on the pricey side for me. Sorry I can't share my experience, but I'm happy that you were able to get your pen working with the new converter.

The Rotring was one of the first pens I acquired when I returned to fountain pens about 20 years ago.  It used to be my go-to pen, but I don't use it as much because the little bumps on the pen have worn a bit and the cap does not remain on the pen as solidly as I would like.

The pen is a workhorse, though it is a bit heavy and terribly well balanced, even without trying to post.
