Wait, I'll pick one up and write with it.....  OK, here's a Wing-Sung 630, (yellow tape) (M) and .... oh (bleep), it's the 'new' one that I haven't inked yet.... Wait, I'll pick another one... a Wing-Sung 630 (M) with Pelikan 4001 Blau-Schwarz ink, on Cosmo Snow paper.  Ah, it's writing so nicely...  love these 630s. 👍😁

 

Notice the nib section partially unscrewed because I'm going to fill it with an eye dropper.

Majohn T6. The acrylic doesn’t shine through the overlay nearly as brightly as in the store pictures. Nice writer though

Wrote out my grocery list with one of my new stubs, using Pilot Blue-Black. I love these cheap and cheerful piston pens, might have to collect them like Pokémon.

Which pens are they? Do they come with a stub nib or is a diy grind? (I did go back through the thread a few pages but cannot find the answer.)

  These are generic F/EF Chinese Piston Fillers that I stubbed myself.  Here’s a link to them and a picture:

Huashilai 152 - M. nib.  Ink:. Diamine Marine.  Still recovering from a complete right hip replacement I had on Nov. 27.  Had only used a light blue Waterman Kultur over the past 3 weeks.  Reached into a container of pens and pulled out the Huashilai, which I have not used in about 18+ yrs.  Had long forgotten how smooth the nib was.  Writing in a Black 'n Red notebook.  My physical therapist has had me walking with a cane these last 4 days vs the walker. Looking forward to returning to journaling with my FPs in the upcoming weeks.

I had a Huashilai!  Wish I still did.

 

Today it's a semi-repaired Wing Sung 3008 with Diamine Misty Blue.

Looks very nice, especially the green-gold one  - but I SHOULD NOT get weak again!

I just gave away all my Chinese pens (400+) apart from my collection of HongDian pens and a Wingsung 699 amber.

But I still have an axe to grind with Hongdian, one of their piston fillers just fell apart in 2 pieces after 1 week of use and they didn't want to give me a replacement. So, I stopped buying Hongdian.

My Jinhao 159 came with a M nib. I changed the nib to a F nib and like how it writes now.
