9019 Dadao, transparent red, filled with Diamine Monaco Red.

A bit too chunky for my hand (I have ordered a 9016), but its medium nib writes really well.

Jinhao 9016. I bought it because the 9019 was too big for me, but this 9016 feels a bit strange in my hand, I wish it were a little longer. Its M nib writes well ou of the box.

STILL using the Jinhao 65.

However, noticed today when I posted the cap that it was wobbly and loose. Not sure what changed on the plastic end cap, but it's no longer securing the cap. I placed a piece of tape around it, and it holds firm again. No idea yet what the long-term fix will be, but this (albeit not glamorous) will work for now.

Nice assortment... which one do you line the best?  Which has the smoothest nib?

Well, the Wing Sung 101 and Wing Sung 601 write the smoothest and the Wing Sung 102 is just as smooth but it is a little smaller and more uncomfortable in the hand,
the Duke D51 is also smooth enough for an EF nib pen, but it is not very good for cursive writing, and that's because the tip of the nib is a bit less visible than most other pens of the type,
instead it's ideal for filling in forms and other documents where you need to write very small .

The ink is OLD, probably 1970s or maybe early ’80s at best- judging from the packaging. It fits a Platignum with a really nice gold nib, but stinky plastic parts.

Hongdian n7, with a replacement #32 nib unit and Wingsung 699 medium nib. Writes beautifully.

image.thumb.png.fd798568d788d390b0ab7e4945228178.png

I had struggled to find a decent medium nib for this pen, since it was only offered with F and EF, and the #6 nib is shorter than the standard #6 nibs. While experimenting, one of the nibs stuck to the unit, and I had to break the nib and the feed to free up the pen's body. To find replacement nib units and proper length nib, thanks to this forum, Inquiring Minds's video on Youtube, and Reddit, I learned that Hongdian #32 Nib unit and Wingsung 699 nibs fit into the pen. However, nobody tried them both. I tried the combination, and now it's a smooth wet Medium writer.

This week I received a yellow Majohn A1 with a Fine nib. It’s been in my shirt pocket every day so far. Very satisfying writer (I inked it with Waterman Inspired Blue).
