Authentication Help Needed - Montblanc 144 Burgundy (With Pics)

Howdy,

I've done a lot of investigating on this forum and many others and I have stumbled across this pen and I am stumped.

Pen Specs

Montblanc 144

Solid Burgundy

Mono Gold 14K Nib

W.-Germany - Center on clip ring

No Serial Number and No PIX

Everything appears to check out, from my non expert opinion, except for the threads. When I read the (Eternal Obsession for Burgundy (Life of MB 144 and More) thread), W.-Germany Burgundy pens should have gold/metal threads. It appears plastic threads did come on these pens but only on the two-tone burgundy pens not the solid burgundy. Sooooo.... do I have a very early, potentially transitional pen, or I have stumbled upon a fake/replica. Let me know and thank you for any and all help.

Your pen looks like mine and I had it serviced at Montblanc in HK.

The only difference is that mine has a two tone nib.

Thank you for the information. Like I mentioned, this pen checked almost every box for me when deciding if it was authentic except for the threads. I appreciate your help.
