Anyone Tried Heat Eraseable Fountain Pen Ink

No, but now I'm a little curious.  Especially since a number of the Noodler's inks are designed to be really super-permanent (often bonding with the paper).  And this seems to be the opposite....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

It's for use with smart notebooks, like Rocketbook.

Ooh, I just bought a bunch of these erasable pens. I haven’t used them yet, but one has a video. It’s a two sided pen with the corrector fluid on a marker tip on the other end. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256803474549314.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.4b1218025h71xS&gatewayAdapt=4itemAdapt

So, I have the non-erasable Rocket Book, which is not exceptionally FP friendly, well, it would be okay if I didn't use such huge nibs, with wet inks.

Today, inspired by @gweimer1 I picked up one of the erasable Rocket Books. When I get back to feeling good, I will be ready for some testing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

@PenguincollectorIt seems that Aliexpress is selling two different types of erasable ink pens. I believe that yours are like the ones commonly used by school children in Europe where an ink eradicator removes the marks. Pelikan (and other brands) make such eradicators to use with Royal Blue ink.  However, the eradicator I linked to above cannot be written over with Royal Blue ink which is why it has a felt tip pen opposite and I don't see that on Aliexpress.  Hmmm...

The pen I got used friction to generate heat and the ink 'disappears' when heated.  I did try the freezer test and the marks reappeared, although lighter.

I bought more than one kind, I think this one has an eraser that reminds me of a stylus on the other end.  There were several different heat erasable or thermal ink pens available. As I go through my haul I will post more about them.

So I just tried the friction erasable penguin pen, it works well, like a pencil. Erases pretty well, you can see a bit of the “All” I erased, but it’s mostly gone, would be covered by another word written on top, I think. The erasable ink reminds me of morning glories in hue.

Thanks 🙂

Is the penguin on top of the cap the eraser? 🤔 It looks quite cute, but wouldn't the floppy star thingie be a bit impractical?

And does the seller offer replacement ink (that's also heat erasable)?

The eraser is under the cap, it looks like a clear stylus rounded end. The penguin is the best part of the pen and is purely decorative. I was mainly buying it for the penguin and I wasn’t really looking for erasable ink, but there’s plenty available on Ali Express. It takes the larger bore cartridges.

Is there?

Last time I looked I could only find the heat-erasable-ink cartridges bundled with pens, but not separately.

Yeah it’s different every time I look, sometimes there’s separate cartridges, sometimes it’s only pens. I found bottled ink as well:
