@dms525, Nice idea with the coral pen rest - but aren't you worried it might scratch your pens?

I swapped nibs today, and here is the long awaited pen I wanted, and finally ordered, then finally received. The nib I put on it is an unbranded Edison 1.1mm italic nib.

I'm pretty careful with how I manage the pen/coral contact. Scratching the pen has never occurred to me. Thanks for your concern.

Most space pens either have little to do with space or cost far too much. At least this one has colors that make you think of Jupiter, plus the name is on the cap band, and the symbol for Jupiter is on the cap finial.

This Hinze pen has anew section that Jim customized to make it thinner for my hand.  The color is darker because it was from a different batch of the Mutt Blanks resin.  Nevertheless, it loos great.

Ooooh...so they DO have other models than the brass ones!
I'd had my eye on the brass one with the Greek motif for years now...but after buying a brass pocket pen, I don't think I want to deal with the "tarnished-metallic-funk" ever again.
I thought I could deal with that smell on my hands after writing...I was wrong.
