This series is a celebration of the Taipei metro. The colour represents red of the colour of the Tamshui-Xinyi Line.

This is how the bottle looks like, curtesy of Shigure inks.

I really like the colour. It’s spot on what I like in a red. It looks spectacular with the wide fude nib:

Unfortunately for some reason it takes its sweet time to dry, on Rhodia and it's even worse on good Japanese paper.Dry time is alright with fine nibs.

Rhodia

It has absolutely no water resistance. Not the best ink to write your shopping list/love letters on a rainy day…. You’ll have a Casablanca moment.

The ink is slightly on the dry side and needed to be cajoled with a #6 fude nib. But with the other nibs I tested, it had no problems. Though don't expect Doyou style lubrication. I would say it has restrained lubrication :)

Cheap paper:

Thank you @yazeh for this review.

Far from Taipei, the connection to a subway line has less importance, despite the interesting idea. I think, all Taipei inhabitants using their subway should have this (and the other subway colours as well)! 😉

It is a nice red where it had been applied wet.

One life!

Yes. It is actually quite nice with a fine nib. But the beauty as you said is would a wide/wet nib... :)

Thanks for the great review, @yazeh!  I think I may have heard of this brand, but not often enough to really remember, so thanks for that, too!  It does look like a nice red.  Lots of shading from that big nib. :)

Spot on as always, yazeh! I love your reviews. And thanks for the illustrious examples using a wide nib. That really brings out the raspberry in the ink!
