Mascot Mechanical Pencil?

Anyone know anything about Mascot twist mechanical pencils?

Like how to replace the lead?

From what I can tell, the green glass/plastic jewel on the end doesn't come off.

Shown with an 85mm Victorinox Swiss Army knife for size.

As with most "vintage" pencils, this one loads through the tip, one piece of lead only. Turn the tip clockwise until the last bit of lead is pushed out, and a short metal pin should appear (that's what ejects the lead). Turn the tip counterclockwise until it stops (don't force it), then push a piece of 1.1-1.2mm (vintage "Standard" 0.046 inch) lead through the tip until it stops. If it disappears into the pencil, turn the tip until it comes out again just a small amount, maybe 1/16 inch. Point the pencil tip downward, and press the end of the lead against something solid, like a tabletop. That should seat the lead into the clutch, and you'll be good to go.

Thank you.

It figures I'll need a different size lead than my other pencil uses. ☹️
