Sailor Profit Jr. limited edition models: Harappa, and Minamo

I just noticed these on Sailor's website today (but I haven't been looking at it for a few weeks), and they look like Sailor's answer to the Platinum Preppy Wa limited edition pens:

As is typical of Sailor pen models that use that type of nib, there is no other nib option on offer outside of Medium-Fine.

Who's keen? At an MSRP of ¥3,500+tax, I'm not sure that I'm sold. (As a point of reference for comparison, the Sailor Profit Jr. toh mei kan clear demonstrator is ¥2,200+tax.) To be fair, though, the price includes a bottle of Ink Studio ink and a colour-matched converter. I dread to see what authorised retailers in ‘the West’ (including Australia), who source their merchandise through the official distribution channel, will ask for these packages in their regional markets.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Nice, and the overall presentation is nicer than the Preppy Wa series, IMO. However, I fundamentally like the designs and choice of more color that Platinum went for over the choice Sailor made here. So, I'm not sure I'm sold, but they certainly seem nice, and might even make a nice gift package for some people.
