I have a handful (probably 10 or so) that need to be cleaned or refilled.

Refilled the Eversharp Skyline with Waterman Serenity Blue though. Emptied it and one other today (Parker 51 Demi Vacumatic) Haven't decided if I will refill it right away yet.

Since I retired, I haven't had much need to use my pens so I have many pens that need to be cleaned out. Tonight, it was 2 Waterman JIFs, one with Fuyu-gaki and the other with 1864, both of which I got on my hands but my 9 Elements foaming dish soap with vinegar got most of it off and the pens are refilled and good to go. My goal is to flush most of the ones I used to take to work.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Two pens.

I was given a 4 piston pen full sample of Edelstein Mandarin, which I missed somehow....perhaps not being much into Orange inks, when it first came out.

I will test it against one of the MB orange inks...in a small square bottle. I don't know which of the two it is, in I no longer have the box. I understand there are two MB LE oranges.

Last year I did a test of 4-5 orange inks, but didn't have the Mandarin.

The springy W. Germany 800 OM, was clean. The Edelstein Aquamarine cleaned out well.

The semi-flex 400 OM, wasn't as clean as I thought. There was a blush of MB Jonathan Swift, Seaweed still in it. More than likely, it will take two days to get rid of that blush.

I had to put both nib tips together to make sure the 400's OM was that and not an OF. There are times when for me, an M looks thin. And someone could have swapped nibs on that piston cap only marked pen.

Yesterday it was the Parker Vector "Shrek Puss in Boots" pen, M nib, after finishing a fill of Robert Oster Bishop to King.

A couple of days before, it was the Cordovan Brown 51 Vac, after finishing the fill of (diluted at that point) Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue.

The blush washout, of the 400, was more than expected. After 6-8 hours there is still an ink mark on the paper towel, so tomorrow it will be once more into the breech.

If I wasn't going to do an Ink Comparison, I'd not worry too much.

Had an hour free this afternoon.

I ran most of my pens in need of cleaning through the ultrasonic cleaner.

I just do it in a production line. The ultrasonic cleaner does most of the work.

Parker 61 with capillary charging and Parker 45. Both pens had blue ink and they will stay in the cleaning vase with water until tomorrow.

Getting back into pens after a long break. I mean, I've written with them daily, I just wasn't as passionate about maintenance over the past 10 years or so. Just utilized cold water flushes.

Disassembled a couple of OMAS FPs (Milord and RttML) this weekend for the first time ever. There were colors of ink in them that I don't even remember using! Greased up the pistons, threads then reassembled and they work flawlessly again.

Also cleaned out some converters and greased those up and very I am impressed with the way they all turned out.

In the past couple of days, I cleaned a Sheaffer 3-25 ring top, a tiny lever filler I call “Maxine,” and the feed of a old BCHR pen called the “Bon-Ton,” by Leslie & Harvey Co.
