Probably a Studio. I already have a Safari, Al-Star, and 2000. I'm looking at the Black Forest one.

A Safari in Umbra, with an EF nib. It will replace on I just gave away.

I was in a meeting a couple of days ago, and a colleague taking notes was complaining about the writing quality and consistency of the ink in the cheap ballpoint he was using. I handed him my Safari, and to make a long story short, after about 30 minutes, the pen became his, and there is one more fountain pen fan in the community.

I don't need any but I'll know it when I see it, nothing like an unplanned purchase.  :D

I'm with you on that, Inkulus -- I'll know it when I see it.

As for me?  I will have to see what next year's SE color(s) will be and whether it's something I want enough to buy....  Sometimes (like the Dark Lilac Safari) are must haves -- but others?  Like this year's Safari SE colors?  They don't wow me at all....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I am satisfied with what little I have and there aren't many pens that I am yearning to acquire.

A pleasant surprise that catches the eye, is always welcome.  :D

Not a pen, but a few Z50 nibs. I'm hoping for a smooth 1.1mm stub this time (the one I have now is scratchy) and I want a few 1.5mm and 1.9mm stubs to try grinding into obliques.

I have, and they look aligned under a 10X loupe. It feels odd since the other such nibs I have (F, M, and 1.5mm) all write smoothly.

No matter. This one has a date with a grindstone, and its replacement is arriving soon.

Most likely a variation of Lamy 2000 in a color different from black and brushed metal. It’s be nice if they offered more colors except in special/limited editions.

Yes that would be so nice if there were more colours. I very much dislike the silver metal look (on anything), and I didn't even know they had special editions.

I think I'll try and snag a few more nibs for my existing 2000 though.

They’ve had done special editions. I know that they did at least one in the metal finish, and Bauhaus blue and later a brown edition in Makrolon as well. There were probably others as well. I personally prefer their Makrolon models as that polycarbonate feels better than metal in my hand. I would like to see the entire section made of Makrolon (without the metal tip). And yes, a LH nib for lefties. I have a LH nib on a different Lamy fountain pen and it’s perfect.

I agree about the Makrolon feeling nice. For having such a popular pen, you'd think there would be more colour options by default. Or at least like the safaris have special edition colours each year. Maybe one day. I feel like fountain pens are going up in popularity.

Some of their color choices for Safari are amazing and I wish they had - at least some of them - in 2000 too.
