FP-Friendly Paper: Top-Bound, Ruled Tablets? (Non-Rhodia, Non-Clairefontaine)

I just went on a crazy paper quest, then I stopped to remind myself. I have enough paper!

I wonder how long I remember that I have enough paper?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Tsk, tsk!

I put it to you, your Honour, that the statement from you that I have quoted above is tantamount to stating that you have ‘enough ink’… :yikes:

As such, I feel it my duty to reply to you by posting:

Fair enough. I ordered two lots of 24 units each of the Rhodia No.18 ruled pads just over two years ago, at the effective price of A$3 (£1.70 today) each, inclusive of ‘free’ delivery and 10% tax. There were a number of reasons for that particular number of units per order; one of them being it was certain that the retailer had to put each order into a very sturdy box, which would be adequate defence against the rigours of handling by a disinterested postal service.

May I ask the name of the supplier for this order.

Milligram, long before it decided to discontinue all clearance sales in its main online shop (and fling all that over to the new Milligram Outlet store, in which shipping is charged irrespective of the total value of an order, and customer loyalty discounts don't apply), and also stop carrying anything interesting such as Kobe INK Story inks.

It has, in fact, just sent me another limited-time gift voucher yesterday for me to use in its main online shop, and still I can't find anything worth buying there, despite that amount off the total payable for an order, free shipping past a certain spend threshold, and my customer loyalty discount.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.
