Sediment in Herbin Bouton d`Or, contamination or normal?

I recently bought a bottle of Herbin's Bouton d`Or. There seems some sediment in the bottom of the bottle which can easily be stirred up when turning the bottle. It that normal with this ink or is it supposed to be completely clear?

I haven't dared to open it yet and would rather try to return it. So no clue about the smell. Seems to be an older bottle without a batch number.

Any experience?

That says all. Thanks for the response. No, didn't contact them. Too much fuzz for one bottle. I ordered a new one. My guess is it's bacteria. I presume the seller had old bottles.

I will dispose of the infected ink and desinfect the bottle as a spare.

I know. Today I recieved another bottle from another seller, this time Amazon, and it shows the same picture. I will send it back. I opened the first bottle. No smell. No smell at all. I even let my wife smell the ink and she just noticed a slight "sweet" smell. And her nose is even more sensitive than mine.

I would have expected a foul or fungal smell, but nothing. Hm... 🤔 I mean, it's for painting only. It will not come in contact with another bottle. All inks that I extract for painting will not go back into the botte.
