I had one last chance to write up postcards before I leave on the trek driving my daughter 2,247 miles back to college.

 

I mailed cards to the following friends in response to their cards received this week:

Hey all,

 

I was out of town all weekend at a friends wedding. It was in Michigan, so I was able to pick up some cards from Indiana and Michigan while driving up there. If anyones interested in any PM me. Also, I have a ever growing selection of Chicago/Illinois cards that are ready to go...again...PM PM PM... :)

 

I received two when I got back....

 

Deauville Great street scene in Devon.... I wish i was walking there right now!!

 

Sdcurnow thanks agian, great card...wish I knew where that was....lol

 

Orangesam wow NI, looks amazing....maybe one day I'll get out of the states and check out some of these great places

 

 

 

hmmm i guess thats three not two....lol

No senders name, no return address, no text, just my address - I can gather from the postmark it has come from San Francisco & the card has 'LUXOGRAPHY' on the front & the printed text on reverse states it is a card from the Gallery at Art Explosion, 2425 17th Street, San Francisco

Received a card from Cigarboy yesterday! By the way one can surf and ski in the same day down here in La La land! I also received a Luxography post card , the address was written with a semi flex nib but I have no idea who sent it.

Been doing photography for many years & been looking into getting my favourite photo of my home town printed into postcards, if it's not overly expensive then everyone I've already sent to will get another batch from me

Ok, just a quick post to jot down cards that came in this week....

I plan to sit down and write out some this Friday and get them in the mail... These foster-care classes have me very busy this month! We have the home interview with the case worker that we will be dealing with and one more class this Saturday and then we can start the wait to have a placement. Sad that it happens, but we are looking forward to having a baby in the house again! With lot's of work and prayer, maybe the child will be re-united and the parents life sorted out for good, and there will always be happy endings! ;)
