Postcard Swap

Hey all, arrived home from a week of (business) travel to several wonderful cards, a very sincere thank you to Green Velvet, CraigR, Steve (SDCurnow), Firefyter-EMT, and Rolard.

Also, if someone would do me a favor since I haven't heard back from Firefyter-EMT, would someone please send me his address, I mistakenly deleted it when I was "cleaning-up" my message in-box.

My best,

Paul

Omaha, Nebraska

P.S. If I'm not on your swap-list, please drop me a line.

I'm sure some others may have sent his address to you too, but I just PM'd you with it.

Hi,

There are 116 pages to go through, so I thought I would ask a question instead. I don't remember what I searched for, but google showed me this forum and since I really love to send out and receive postcards it seemed like heaven.

But how does it work? I would really love to be part of this exchange.

I can send postcards from Sweden. I do travel sometimes to London or Berlin and can send cards from there too.

Thanks in advance!

Hanna

Hoping you have a Happy Mail Day!

Thanks for the answer!

That seems easy enough.

Have a great day,

Hanna, who really should go to bed - I am leaving for Berlin in a couple of hours, just for a day trip

Hoping you have a Happy Mail Day!

WARNING. I picked up two shoeboxes full of early vintage cards at the flea market yesterday (whilst hunting pens with AllWriteNow, Oxonian, RickKrantz and TomHeath - good haul, too!). Alas, the cards have a high percentage of those soppy flowery greeting postcards from the first decade or two of the last century. So, if you like these cards and we don't already swap cards, PM me. If we already swap cards and they make you cringe, just hope the USPS destroys them before they reach your door! :P

You have been forewarned.

Fred

Great vintage 'Redding Ridge' card received from Firefyter-Emt. Reminiscent of the good old days. Thanks.

Lee, the North Grosvenordale CT postmark is very interesting (I presume you posted the card there). It is one of the biggest cancellation marks I have seen. It is 1 3/4" in diameter and I think it may have been hand stamped (in red ink) and there are what look like cancellation marks from automated postal equipment over-printed in black ink. This all adds interest to the card.

Greetings fellow FPN readers,

I would be delighted to receive postcards from this exchange and would be most happy to reciprocate. Please PM me your address if you'd care to.

I'd be particularly interested in receiving cards from outside of the United States.

I made postcards for my upcoming art show with a printed detail of one of my new pieces and will happily send one to whomever wants one, so long as you privately message me your mailing address.
