I've been meaning to send lots of card as is, and hence haven't contacted any new people here. This doesn't mean that I'm not interested in swapping cards - just PM me if interested. I'll start mailing some cards eventually/soon. ;)

The card looked fine. It was no better or worse than any other card that had been given all the care and respect possible from both the Royal Mail and the US Postal Service.

Considering what the clear plastic bag appears to contain, I'm surprised your postmaster didn't use a plain brown wrapper. :)

  • sbooth - Cardiff Castle Wales (about a zillion times older than anything here)
  • Merzig - Bar Bar Bar (Does that say something about Toronto? Oh ya, I guess this time of year it's Yee-Haw over here! ;) )
  • Penburg - North Carolina Lighthouses
  • FP Writer - very cool vintage image postcard from Vietnam

 

All blue inks too.... some I may have to consider a look at.

Card received from Hennypenny. Thanks for the wonderful homemade postcard. I too tried the avery postcards and found them FP unfriendly as well. If I can't find a pen/ink combo that works with them I may have to use BP on them. Or find some other use for them.
