I used to be very good about expressing thanks for post cards via PM. I'm afraid I've been remiss lately. I'm clearing my desk today and found cards from

Many, many thanks!

I know that other FPNers have sent cards lately that I probably added to my album without acknowledging them. :blush: But now I'm not sure who I've neglected to thank. I promise to reform and do better in the future. In the meantime, if anyone is thinking that Judybug is a wretched ingrate, please PM and let me know so that I can apologize and let you know that I got your card.

Postcards from La Paz, available here (PM)

Edited by Kabe

The voice of this guitar of mine, at the awakening of the morning, wants to sing its joy;

I sing to your volcanoes, to your meadows and flowers, that are like mementos of the greatest of my loves;

If I am to die away from you, may they say I am sleeping, and bring me back home.

I'd like to participate as well. If anybody wants a card from the Dallas, TX area, PM me.

Here's an idea: I bought a mystery box of stuff from a photo supply site, and one of the things in it was postcard blanks with an adhesive back (or would it be front?). This way, you could turn your own photo, etc. into a post card. Maybe I'll get to use 'em now :thumbup:

Cards mailed today: StephY and The Moose

I'm flying to Michigan on Friday to drive my daughter home from college (www.hillsdale.edu). There are sources of vintage cards nearby, plus new cards along I-80 on the drive home. I think I'm becoming a deltiologist (thanks for the word, inkypete).

Sure Im up for it, I'll mail worldwide. This is a great idea, how do I get started?.

Does anyone else, like me, enjoy receiving 'real' mail from all over the world? There are such a variety of members here that I thought it would be interesting to swap postcards of our town which have been written with a fountain pen. You could include details about the pen and ink you are using on the card, or just a general message about your hometown!

I'm happy to send postcards from Canterbury, United Kingdom to anyone who would like to receive one. Let me know in the forum below or send me a PM.
