Sounds cool, so I just send a card to one of your addresses and then you're polite and send one back? :P

Where can I find a newer/larger list of addresses?

Not exactly.

You look through the posters in this thread and you send a PM (private message) offering to exchange postcards with whomever you like. Most likely they will agree and you exchange real addresses and then exchange postcards.

Disclaimer: I have no official status to be telling anyone how to do anything but I usually wind up typing this sort of post to folks who haven't read back in the thread long enough to find my last one. :roflmho:

That being said, exchanging postcards can be lots of fun and it is perhaps a good thing to keep our postal delivery systems doing something other than junk mail from time to time.

I would like to deplete a stack of postcards I kept from my university production. =)

Will send till it's gone, I've got 30 pieces... Will likely be using Sailor Sapporo Fine with Spirit of Bamboo Ink, Chinese / English anyone?

Drop me your address, I'll get things going.

Interested in exchanging postcards. I've been enjoying hand written correspondence again for the past year or so, however my recipients seem to only briefly e-mail back, which sort of dampens the fun a bit sometimes.

I'm a Western Canuck, so mine will be coming from Alberta, Canada. Let me know if you're interested in a postcard of the city/province/country or just something that happened to catch my interest or amuse me.

I'd enjoy receiving postcards from just about anywhere, even Edmonton ;)

Gotten a lot of cards now- I need to find a box for them soon, some are getting tatty because the cats have been batting at them. :D

I've also sent everything out; those who want to look at my hand-drawn postcards may see them here:

They're all drawn on cardstock and each is unique. Comments and/or suggestions welcome.

I thought I'd share part of my kitchen wall filling up rapidly with wonderful postcards and so much better than the 50s wallpaper I inherited. Many thanks for recent postcards from FieryPhoenix, DaleR, Robert Hughes, Diplomat, FredR, FP Writing and whiskas. Cards coming back at many of you this week.

Best

There is no list.

One of the fun aspects of this activity is to try to figure out something about the person you pick based on postcard information they have posted. I frequently guess wrong about what kind of card someone is going to send me.
