By the way, Roger, you win the prize for the address that requires the most space on the back of a postcard! :roflmho:

Fred

I'm not surprised, Fred...you can imagine how much of a bore it is to have to type/write it out as often as I do :(

(I Copy&Paste and use pre-printed labels whenever possible!)

I could threaten you with my work address, I've had people mutter about the length of that :roflmho:

I posted this question in the Paper & Pen Paraphernalia Reviews and Articles section, but thought someone here might also have an answer.

I'm looking for Peel-and-Stick postcard backing to make postcards from my photos. Anyone have any experience with these or found any that are fountain pen friendly?

BTW, FredRydr, you are really on top of things. My card(s) to be sent in the next couple of days.

PhotoPOSTOS makes a great, fountain pen friendly backing in two sizes. I've had great luck with this brand. The instructions come with the backings are easy (and necessary) to follow.

I hope this helps. http://www.photopostos.com/pages/plain.html

Hi everyone

I'd like to give this a go, it sounds great! So who wants postcards from beautiful Northern Ireland?

Hello All,

I stopped at the drug store and the post office today. I have twenty postcards and enough stamps to send them anywhere on the planet.

If you'd like a postcard from Southern California, just send me a PM with your name and address.

I'll write in any color ink you like, so long as it's black =)

Cheers!

You're playing with fire, here.

I regretlessly gave up my former practice of printing barcoded addresses. BTW, a full US postal code in that form (a "delivery point") is actually ZIP + 4 + 2 + a modulus-10 check digit. Nowadays, a hand-addressed postcard or letter will travel just about as fast as a machine-readable one.

I'm going to Costa Rica and returning in February, so I won't be receiving any cards for a while. But you may get a few. :)

Just sent one to you. Can't guarantee you'll get as many as you send, but you should have a few waiting when you get back.

Sent you a couple last week, hope you got them. If not, they'll be here when you return. Have a good trip - and a break from the PA weather!

Looking for an Omas Arco Verde...the one that got away.

I got 3 post cards in the mail last night. I've been looking for place that sells them for the last week and found a few yesterday after work so I'll be sending those out soon. Thanks to those who sent to me!

Has anyone else noticed how hard it is to find postcards???

That's a REAL problem here. Looks like all they have is four different views of this @#%& city and that's it.

I started to look for new ones in any place I visit, even the next city where friends live.

But in springtime I'll be at my parent's house: I remember I was using to collect postcards when I was a child (that is because my father is an avid stamp collector...) and I should have loads of used and unused postcards at my place. And they are from the 80s too!

Thanks to all of you for your cards, I hope mine are arrived or about to do it.

Fred, I guess you have some kind of business agreement with the US postal service because your cards are quicker than a phone call.

Cheers everybody.
