Geez, I feel like it's been forever since I've been on here! There have been several of you who have been helping me with my postcard collection and I wanted to say thank you! I am behind on some of these so I am sorry! Finals and the usual rush at the end of the school year have really been eating up my time. I have received postcards from: Fred, Sandy (penburg), Agnus, KingJoe, roger, and finalidid. I think that I've sent a card to all of you that have PM'd me. If I haven't, please let know, and I will get it to you! Have a great day!

I received a card of a beautiful green valley in India yesterday from Hari317. It took 12 days from Mumbai to Northern California. Thanks Hari317!

Received a great card from succubus last week that shows a very interesting camera shot of old New York.

I agree Lani, I like interesting camera angles too!

Have sent out some Cards from Edinburgh & St.Andrews, however I must apologize to some of the recipients as I had to write some in pencil, as I was witting in heavy rain and on especially shiny card! I am very sorry for this, however I wanted to get something out rather than nothing, I am however terribly sorry for this!

I will, within the week, hopefully be sending out some cards from Portsmouth, in ink!

Have received a very beautiful card from cklondon! Thanks very much.

Yours Kez

Does anyone else, like me, enjoy receiving 'real' mail from all over the world? There are such a variety of members here that I thought it would be interesting to swap postcards of our town which have been written with a fountain pen. You could include details about the pen and ink you are using on the card, or just a general message about your hometown!

I'm happy to send postcards from Canterbury, United Kingdom to anyone who would like to receive one. Let me know in the forum below or send me a PM.

Now that the semester's over and I'm emerging from that "missing-time" zone of academia, I'd love to get back into the postcard groove! I don't have too many local postcards but I do have some nice images of other places I've been. Let me know if you collect any particular kinds of postcards. I tend to like the odd ones -- world's largest ball of string, that kind of stuff... they always jolt me out of auto-pilot :P

I laid in a nice supply of odd vintage ones, many of them classic Metrocraft cards. If you saw one, you'd know right away what they are. My poor postcard pals!

Rec'd. two postcards today! Absolutely made my lunchtime walk to the post office well worth it.

First card from 'ihappen' in the UK. A truly beautiful pic of the castle at Edinbugh with a panorama of part of the city. Oh I want to see Scotland someday. Thanks Kez.

Second card from 'ash13brook' in Chicago. This card is a fabulously funky vintage pic of the 'Drake Hotel Courts' in Chatanooga TN. I'm guessing ca. 1959-60 judging from the cars in the parking lot. Outstanding. This is one of those free postcards that were always in the desk drawer in your motel room. Thanks Matt.

Keep 'em coming gang!!

Thanks very much Lucas!

How can i get in on this wonderful pass?

Once a pen was so happy to be bought. So much so, that it piddled all over its pages.

Mea culpa! I was preparing the car for a trip, and I discovered a dozen or so written and stamped postcards shoved between some CD jewel boxes in the console. They're going out today!

I received some more great cards. I just love those old ones.

Thanks, Fred, for the B&W postcard of Baltimore Harbor. I've always been a fan of B&W photography. btw, Aurora looks like one of the blackest black inks I've seen in a while.

Thanks from Virginia.
