Postcard Swap

If anyone would like to exchange postcards with an inhabitant of rural Staffordshire, PM me.
Let me know what kind of cards you would be interested in receiving, and I’ll see what I can do.

I would like to receive cards that show places of local (to the sender) interest, or art, or humour - but would be happy with anything :)

I have chosen to send/swap postcards so that recipients don’t need to worry about my penchant for blathering on and on and on and on and on

Hello, my fellow post card junkies,

I find myself with a plethora of post cards - some from my locale (southern Louisiana, USA) and some from various US road trips.

PM me if you would like to receive any of these.

So many pens, so little time!

I've been away from fountain pens for a few years and this postcard exchange too.

I'd like to get back into exchanging postcards. I live in Dallas, Texas and will probably start out sending rather standard Dallas area cards. In a while I'll start printing my own pics on an inkjet printer, and start sending those.

Message me if you want to exchange.

Hi everyone. I have been enjoying writing people again thought it would be fun to exchange postcards as well. I'm in the Indianapolis, IN area and am happy to receive a postcard from anywhere. Shoot me a message if you are interested. Thank you!

Hint:  To get some action on postcards, don't just post an invitation to others in the thread.

It's more effective to also make direct contact by private messenger.   Make your offer to swap postcards with members who've posted here in the last few years.  Click on the member's avatar, and then click on the Message envelope.

Postcard activity does seem to ebb and flow.

Postcards, yes!

There are many on standby, and I'm looking forward to fountain pen-snail communication with others on this site.

Thanks,

-John

I've sent PMs to a few people who posted here to see if they're still interested in swapping postcards.

If anyone else would like to swap postcards, send me your address and I'll send you... a postcard!

Would love to exchange postcards. I like to use rubber stamps and paint them, sort of surreal? or funny or... whatever strikes my funnybone with a particular odd assortment of stamps :)

pm me :)

I use old postcards, old postage stamps (though rate increases crowd stamps on old 3x5 cards), old pens and fresh ink.

Lovely card, thank you. I have to get the box fixed, as the one on top of mine was damaged by a neighbor who smashed his cubby in our outdoor set of mailboxes! Consequently, in good 'ole Pacific NW weather, it rained in and streaked the ink, very sorry, but it only added a bit of visual cue of how your ink 'washes' with water on a couple of 1/4" spots, not bad, but a definite no-no with fountain pens.

Today I did seal up the disused box above mine, moisture problem solved, yay Duct-tape!

Late to the party but . . .

I'd love to exchange post cards!

I'd like local interest kinds of things or anything of interest to the sender.

I'm back from having disappeared for so long. If anyone is interested in receiving or trading postcards from Michigan send me a PM.

I have postcards from Michigan (general types) and the coveted Hell, Michigan postcard. Yes we have a Hell Michigan. We also have a Paradise, Michigan and I am trying to find postcards from there. They are very up north though.
