Best way to do it is to just pick someone or someones who have posted here and PM them with an offer to swap. Most will say "fer sure" and trade addresses and you are in like Flynn!

I am an :happyberet: artist living in Phila.

I would LOVE  to exchange some postcards with all of you. Please PM me.

Writing really letters with my fountain pen sounds like a lot of  fun.

I like to doodle so my postcards may contain some sketches.

The easiest way to initiate a postcard exchange is to pick one or more of the participants in this thread, send them a PM, and offer to exchange mailing addresses and postal cards. If you would like one from San Diego, just PM me with your mailing address.

Long letters, aka "snails" may be done in much the same way but you can choose from the breadth of FPN posters to propose an exchange. I'm involved in three very interesting snail exchanges now and they derived from folks with whom I interacted with on various FPN forums.

There are very interesting opinions floating about; pick a proponent of one that interests you and offer the "snail" exchange in a PM. Not everyone has the time or inclination but nobody is likely to be offended or rude to you if they decline.

A third option is to read the thread on traveling journals and see if you want to enter one or offer to start one. In some ways, these are the most fun of all!

Any excuse to write with our pens!

We are really 'spoiled for choice' here...... too many entries to read 'em all!

I have recently revived my FP writing after decades of BPs and keyboards.

Don't expect calligraphy from me...I am working at tidying-up my scrawl which will never be beautiful.

A recently widowed (after 36years married) Brit, who's lived in a few other countries, now retired and living on Spain's Costa Blanca.

An animal lover (but not a fanatic)...I have a dog & a cat, 3 daughters & 2 grandchildren.

I like pub quizzes, am learning to play the saxophone (badly), and spend too much time on internet forums, when I should be practising, walking the dog or domestic things!

If you make people think they're thinking, they'll love you; But if you really make them think, they'll hate you.
