Did anyone mention "Postcrossing" which is a post card exchange site? You send out cards to selected addresses, and receive a similar number back from somewhere else. I did this for a while, but in the US, postage overseas even for cards has gone up to a buck a piece, so it gets pricey to do many many of these. Still, it was fun for a while last winter when I was bored. The Russian cards were quite amazing as were the Japanese cards. It's postcrossing.com in case any of you are enthusiastic.

I hadn't noticed this idea. At the moment I have just 4 snail mail pen pals (and one of those is family ). If anyone would like to receive postcards from Aotearoa (the Land of the Long White Cloud - AKA New Zealand) I would be simply delighted to oblige. Of course I would like a card or two myself from time to time!

 

If anyone is keen... well, I know I am not too popular on the forum, but I would appreciate the opportunity to write to overseas potential friends.

I have this set of postcards from Jersey, Channel Islands. Actually there's 2 sets, 6 from 2013 and 6 from 2014. I have to send only 11 from this sets, plus another 2 normal postcards (one with Jersey, the other with Patrouille de France 2012). There's numbers for each card if you have any preference, first ask is first served. The postcards I will send them next Thursday with regular mail.

As you can see from the picture this postcards are bigger and wider than normal and were relies by JEP, Jersey Post and luxuryhotels. If any collector wants the sets please contact me.
