During the school year, I would send postcards from Gambier, OH (Kenyon College). During breaks, cards would come from DFW area in Texas.

Hello.

 

Completely new to this forum but already in love with the idea of swapping cards.

 

I'm willing to swap cards with people from anywhere in the world. Since I actually work and live in two separate cities, I can post cards from Braga or Porto, Portugal.

 

Just not very sure how this works though, so if anyone would be so kind as to let me in on the rules of conduit, I'd be very thankful.

Hi everyone!

I want to play too! I PM'd a few of you already. I recently sent some postcards to family members and realized how little space there is. But I think that's a good medium for writing to strangers. Just say hello within the confines of a couple sentences. With that said, I still wonder what I will end up writing if anyone wants a card from me. I can send postcards from rural Western Massachusetts.

My granddaughter loves learning about different countries & U.S. states.

This would be a fun experience for the two of us :-). She also likes stamp collecting.

I too would love to join in and exchange postcards. I'm in the North East of England, so if you'd like to receive cards from there (and maybe the occasional one from France and Scotland) I'd be happy to oblige.

Count me in for this--I love getting & sending postcards! Most of mine will come from Indianapolis, but I've got various odds and ends lying around the house (I always seem to buy too many on vacation), so who knows what you may get.

My pile of stamps clipped from cards and envelopes received from around the world has grown again. I am not a stamp collector. If anyone wants them along with a postcard in an envelope, PM me with your address.

 

I've noticed that many nations don't bother to cancel stamps anymore, or the franking machinery misses the postcard altogether.

I went into the city today, looking for better Washington DC postcards. I found a source for nice ones with photos of the war memorials. If you're a vet or war historian, I can send the appropriate card in trade. I didn't buy a big stock for home, so it might take a moment to find a card of your monument of choice.

 

 

I still have broader Washington DC cards, and Virginia cards to offer.
