Postcard Swap

I'd love to swap postcards! I don't have any touristy ones to exchange so mine would be of the "bulk pack from amazon" variety until I have a chance to get some. I live in Georgia, USA and am happy to swap in US or out of US if I can figure out how to write the address correctly :)

Please send a PM if interested

Count me in! I live in Norway, so I'll probably send Norway themed cards, and maybe some "home made" cards from my own pictures of local places and stuff. I've got a wall where I put PC's from all over the world (my PC collection wall), but they're mostly from my own friends' travels to the other Scandinavian countries, so I'd very much like to "expand my horizon", so to speak. Besides, I need to work on improving my handwriting. It's not awful, it's just that it isn't awesome either. Anyway, where can I sign up? PM me if you're interested in swapping cards. :)

Does anyone have a tried and true spreadsheet template or other program database addresses and a method of keeping up-to-date with swappers? I've been adding to a text document for years, but it is becoming ungainly.

You have got to be kidding me. I have a color coded sent/received list with date sent and subject matter of the card kept in a compostion book. This is The Fountain Pen Network, after all. Any excuse to do some handwritten something or other. :roflmho:

Hello!

I'm fairly new to FPN and fountain pens in general. I'd love to get some practice writing around the world. Anyone interested in receiving postcards from Seattle, WA, shoot me a PM!

This sounds like a really cool idea.

I would love to receive postcards from around the world.

I am in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am not talented enough to make my own postcards, but happy to send local cards.

Also please note my handwriting is pretty awful! (But I am hoping to improve it!)

PM me if you want address details.

Sounds fun...

If you're interested in receiving a postcard from the Dayton, Ohio area (or Ohio-related postcards), PM me and we'll Git-R-Done!!

Dayton is the home of the US Air Force Museum, the Wright Brothers (airplane dudes), a handful of Universities, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, just to name a few. There are a number of cool towns in the area, and some have unique histories. Also, Ohio has a rich history and a diverse population - Home of multiple US Presidents, Native American Lands, numerous colleges and universities (THE Ohio State University - my Alma Mater), Cincinnati Chili, Micro-breweries, and probably the best snack/dessert EVER - BUCKEYES!!!

I've worked/lived in Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and London UK. I speak Chinese (passably), and am learning Romanian on Live Mocha. I'd be happy to exchange from anywhere in the world, but am really interested in the UK, China, and Romania.

Brief Bio: I'm 44 M, Respiratory Therapist, Photographer, Geek/Nerd (proud too...LOL), Writer/Poet, Sci-Fi fanatic (Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who, etc...), Anglophile, West Ham United Fan, and lover of Pizza Rolls..LOL

If this goes well, and I can keep up with it (my schedule can get crazy sometimes), I'll probably do the letter exchange too...

Hope to hear from you soon!

I am interested in participating.

My location is Asheville, which is a touristy area. Lots of postcards around here of the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway and other local places.
