Hi, this sounds like a great idea, Ive been thinking lately I'd like to write to someone, but I've got no-one to write TO. Not sure how it all works without wading through the 158 pages. Anyway, I'm in South Australia, I'd like to write to anyone anywhere; and how do I get one of those cool logos saying Post Card Exchange Participant?

BTW, I'll start small, postcards not letters at this stage

You can find the postcard exchange images in the pinned topic Exchange Badges

You just have to insert the code in your signature.

I just picked up a few hundred old B&W photo cards, the type people had photos taken of them, and the backs are designed for mailing. Approx 80-100 years old. Those who are already my postcard pals are in for a treat. Others? Just ask to swap cards!

Hello:

I am a new member of the FPN and would love to join the postcard swap. Can you please tell me how I proceed from here? I tried PMing notts86 and no luck. Thank you in advance,

Aura

Hey Aura,

I would simply say keep trying. try members on the later pages.

Thank you, Halden. I saw the list on the first page of the forum so I thought I had to "register." I'll contact folks that have shown interest in 2010 for the exchange.

namaste,

Aura

Feel free to PM me your address if you would like postcards from the American Midwest. I have a vintage collection of postcards but can also provide contemporary ones. I am also contemplating sending out postcards with my fractal artwork if anyone is interested - I just need to find a decent and not too expensive printing facility B)

I submit that participation requires new swappers to take initiative in order to add penpals to postcard swap lists. The passive approach (e.g., Contact me if you want.) doesn't seem to produce much.

I concur. I have a much larger pool of pen pallers that I contacted V. the ones that contacted me.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that I am suspending my PC swapping to focus of my letter pen palling.

Thanks to everyone that has sent me cards.

Will be traveling a little bit this upcoming month! Would anyone like postcards from Central America, US, and Asia? :)

Hey guys, I'm in the DC area and I have TONS AND TONS of postcards lying around. I used to collect them and display them whenever I'd visit a new place but they've been sitting in boxes for several years. PM me if interested - I've got some from Paris, England, Hungary, India, U.S. (!) and several other places.

I would LOVE for some postcards from East Asia or Central America.

Howdy!

I'd like to (re-) join the swap. Feel free to PM me and I'll be PMing people as well. To my former 'regulars', so sorry for dropping off the face of the earth. Hopefully, I will be forgiven.
