hey everyone!! Just got back from Paris (she said YES) and realized that i have about 8 letters and 10 PC's to respond to...So...as soon as I get caught up with my work (this afternoon) I will begin replying to everyone!

Just before I left for the London show, we had a cloudburst here (they call it a gota fria and I had a flood which found-out the lack of water resistance of much of my PC address list :(

 

So, if I owe you one, please re-send me your address, either by PM or by PC!!

 

Thanks and apologies....I can just about read some of them .....and La Reine Mauve is great, as is a black which i didn't know was water-resistant (Aurora, I guess, as it's the only one I have!).

A cold laid me low this week; however, postcards from tawanda, gingin, sdcurnow and paulk continued to arrive and brightened the days. Thankyou.

 

Last weekend i experimented printing colour photos i had taken on Canson watercolor paper and 6 ply bristol board. I liked the Canson paper very much, but the bristol was too stiff and thick to print in our Canon i850 inkjet. Perhaps i can locate some 3 ply to play with.

 

Some of these were mailed this past Monday to jazztonight, mikew, tr3n1ty and inkypete.

Yesterday replies were sent to tawanda, gingin, sdcurnow and paulk.

I sent a bundle out on Friday, but we're still having postal delivery issues in the UK, so I guess things may take a bit longer than normal.

 

Just a thought, do you think this international postcard swap...may in some way be responsible for the disgruntled postal workers? Are we over-working them?!

 

Let's keep swapping, regardless of issues outside our control :D
