Sorry all, I know I owe a lot of cards to a lot of people; but I've finally got a good solution to the self-printed back-of-card issue, thinks to CraigR. Anyway, I've sent cards out today to:

Mr. Anonymous

waisun

And I'll be getting more out soon.

BTW, if you've been exchanging cards with me and you haven't got one of a) Palo Pinto Cafe, and/or B) deserted building in Strawn, TX, let me know, I'd like to make sure I get them to everyone on my list. (And if anyone else wants on the list PM me.) The ink shouldn't be feathering all over the place like the last few.

And for everyone who's got those two, I'm trying to figure out what to send next.

Card out to MikeW yesterday.

I wonder how long it will take to travel that short distance (2-3 hours by car)? Snail mail is certainly an appropriate term.

I remember when first class mail would arrive in two days ...

Howdy all! It seems like all I do on this thread these days is apologize. :(

I still have a stack of cards (and some letters) that are done but havent been addressed yet. Lifes been a bit on the crazy side as I've been planning my engagement. So please bear with me, at least its a good excuse :)

Take care....

Postcards sent out to inkypete, alibaba and tr3n1ty last week and to pyotrkot today.

Today I received cards from inkypete and pyotrkot (thanks very much!) and I expect I should start receiving the rest this week/early next.

Who is next?

Received cards from;

Waisun - Petronas Twin Towers at night, gorgeous and crystal-like architecture. This is the first time i have seen the results of using a flex nib. Very interesting.

SDCurnow - Lincoln's home in Illinois, amazing penmanship. This makes me want to write neater in the future. Thank-you

I am going to try printing some of my photos as postcards. If successful i will send replies on them.

Have a great weekend everyone,

no received from me?

The voice of this guitar of mine, at the awakening of the morning, wants to sing its joy;

I sing to your volcanoes, to your meadows and flowers, that are like mementos of the greatest of my loves;

If I am to die away from you, may they say I am sleeping, and bring me back home.

:( Doesn't look like any of my postcards made it to you all this week. And it was domestic! I hope nothing happened in the mail... I did send it through the Disneyland boxes. Maybe they forgot about it and didn't pick 'em up. :(

Hope they get to you all soon!

Nothing more than passing through. I'm sure there's several cards waiting for me back at home (typing this currently from Miami, Florida).

As many of you recall from my postcard ramblings, my wife and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary by taking a long cruise and visiting some of my Florida family members.

Certainly NOT missing my Nebraska home: presently it is 28 degrees(f) and my son told us that we had 5 1/2 inches of snow earlier. It is presently 90 degrees(f) in Miami -- I have every intention of taking a dip in my cousin's pool before the evening is done. We will soon return to "reality."

Cards will be returned next weekend....even a few I picked up at our ports of call.

My very best to all,

Paul

Over the past couple of days, received cards from allibaba, MikeW, zubipen, PaulDavid, jakespeed, inkypete, and one unsigned card that I think is from sdcurnow? It's a luxography card, posted from San Francisco, CA.

Replies are going out Monday.

Checked mail... a bill, another bill, then postcard from inkypete! Happy dance.

tr3n1ty, you've not been forgotten. Written and ready, will be mailed tomorrow; however, postal holiday Monday so that will add another day, of course.
