Do you make killmarks on the door frame? :)  My son does such things counting the number of banana plants he had removed and executed over the years. IIII :)

I think that would be too depressing. It might be a larger number than the number of extant plants...

Imagine all the new inks I'm going to have to justify buy!

Haha :D

Imagine all the inks that could be sold together with the flowering plants .... making set offers, such as: "buy three plants, get a fitting ink for free" or "one ink sample together with each plant, voucher for price reduced full bottle included".

Should we tell the ink manufacturers?

😄

To be honest, such an offer would be more attractive for me than any free parking ever could be.

One life!

Or the plant vendors!

Hi @essayfaire.

I love the flower colour of the African Violets so much - it's such a deep and saturated violet! I guess, Diamine Pansy comes very close.

But you also have used a nice green ink. Is this Robert Oster Green at Night?

Well done, I'm loving your plant and ink combinations!

I don't have Diamine Pansy- may need to remedy that before next blooming!

Yes, it's the Oster Green at Night.

The orchids are all beautiful. My brother gave my mother an orchid. It was tall, with white blooms.  I called it Cloud. Cloud did not survive.  Like some have mentioned, we did not know how to take care of it. Still have the wood container it came in.

Oh, that DOES look like a nice green! Thanks!  (My wallet, however is NOT thanking you...).

@MisfitThey're actually very easy as long as you don't drown them!  Well, common ones are very easy.

Here's a pen and plant pairing.

The pen and ink pairing are correct (as I see it!) with Bungubox Tanna Japonensis which suits the colour of the pen well. The leaves of the Mituo Gigan Dragon No. 12 ('novelty' Phalaenopsis) are actually a very pale lime green, but there is a Kyoto Tag ink that I feel might be very close as a match.

Lovely!  Any chance you can show the inks with the phal?

I love that the pen and leaves both have a touch of subtle mottling! Well done!
