Wooden Pen Tray

Hi all,

 

Maybe this is a dumb question, but I was wondering, would a wooden pen tray like this one scratch/be too abrasive for a Montblanc pen made of resin?

The thing to worry about usually is if metal or dusty grit manages to collect somewhere and you scrape the pen over it, but even then, most of those sorts of scratches can be buffed out. Even posting your pen on a resin pen that is friction posted will cause scratching eventually. This grit issue can happen even with "soft" materials like felt (sometimes more so), so I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Better than sitting on a naked desk, open to any available contamination.

Very nice tray. Saw a similar one on etsy. Was going to order it for my pen and, well I bought 4 more pens so...

 

In any case, I just bought a pen box for my 3 sterling silver MB pens.
