Thanks. I enjoy using it. I didn’t realize they don’t  all have JoWo nibs until I saw your comment. I bought mine at Vanness but I don’t think they have them anymore. Good luck with your search.

Thank you, your handwriting is striking.

Waterman calls this nib a stub, but it is quite crisp - crisper than lots of nibs I have had ground as "cursive italics."

Thank you.  In case you miss it, I just updated my response about the Retro 1951. If you want a JoWo nib they appear to have some at Goldspot.

Ironically, I am not even sure whether my local distributor stocks the same version. Ours is listed as "Ancient Copper", foreign dealers stock the Lincoln. Not sure if they are the same.

Thank you! Modern Waterman pens trend toward elegant. Not "fun." Not "colorful." They make you want to dress more formally (He said, sitting at the computer in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. 😏)

It's days since I wrote in my journal with anything I hadn't already shown here. Today it's a Lamy Al-Star Graphite with a fine nib filled with Robert Oster Chicago. Yes, I syringed the sample out of the Pilot pens that were so dry with it and tried it in something I knew to be more generous. The colour is just as lovely and, from the Lamy, lays down very nicely. It was all about the choice of pen - the paper is still the Clairefontaine notebook.

Will work for pens...

Today's journal pen is a Platinum pocket pen with butterflies and a zogan (the correct name for the decorative inlay on the section according to Richard Binder's article). The ink is Diamine Deep Dark Red. It is such a dainty pretty pen!

The new Esterbrook Candy. 😬 This is the most colorful pen I have owned, but I just love it.  It is a refreshing switch up from my normal hues of blue, green, and teal.  I have yet to write with the nib, but found that it paired quite well with a notebook I already had on hand.  Excited for it's maiden voyage!

I always think the pattern on that pen would make my head spin!  Looks nice, though, from a distance ;)

I'm using my Onoto Scholar simply because it was left out before I had the COVID booster that 'knocked me for six' on Monday.
