My $6 Monteverde Strata Omniflex arrived today.  What a fantastic pen for $6.  The M Omniflex nib is smooth as silk and very wet.  The pen has good balance and feels good in the hand.  I never had a Monteverde pen before, I'm impressed. 😀👍

Went a little crazy recently with some acquisitions over the last few months, but they're very fun to play with:

• A Fifty4T Titan Ultem – the #8 steel fine nib is surprisingly nice, and the filling system is really fun; 
• A Kyuseido Kakari – this is my first time using Architect nib, and it's been an interesting new style to work with; and
• A Schon DSGN Altem full-size pen – a wonderful everyday workhorse, so light that you barely notice you're carrying it.

I know. 😀👍  When I saw the price I had no idea what they would be send, so I took a chance.  Turned out to be a factory sealed box with a nicely balanced metal pen, a converter and 2 cartridges. 👍😀

The pen of the day was going to be the same CS series 58 Seamus Heaney pen I've been using all week.

I had forgotten how little ink a Series 58 (a lever filler) holds.  It will have a 'bath', and I'll use the Belliver instead.

I’m finally posting about my pen of the day, because I finally filled it for today… yesterday.  It’s a very cool Kaweco AL Sport Anthracite with a 1.1mm stub nib filled with De Atramentis Silver Gray. I love this pen, and how it’s a chameleon. Is it gray… or is it a purple tone?
