I'm down to two pens inked right now. A Pelikan M760 175th Anniversary with the correct 18c bicolor fine nib and Montblanc Noir and a Dunhill AD2000 in gold plate with M nib and Private Reserve Tropical Blue.20250117_163439.thumb.jpg.7bfffcb90012aa0b292e07a7615c6a7e.jpg

Today so far it's been two pens:

Parker Vector "Shrek Puss in Boots", M nib, finishing a fill of Robert Oster Bishop to King; and then finishing up today's MP entry with the Parker Vac Red Shadow Wave, F nib, still with its usual fill of Waterman Mysterious Blue.

I think you mean Yama Budo - one of my favorite inks too.  Today I inked my MB 146 flex with Iroshizuku Shin Kai and a Lamy Safari with 1.9 nib with Edelstein Golden Lapis.

Hoping to get some time to enjoy both!

Very nice.  Love the gold pens with the blue Pelikan holder and writing.  Mecum auctions are fun to watch!

@USG -- I REALLY need to get some of the paper you're using -- I've NEVER seen sheen on Souboku and I use it a LOT (albeit mostly in a Pilot Falcon with a SF nib...).

As for me?  Today it's been the Noodler's Medieval Lapis Konrad, flex nib, with Noodler's Luxury Blue (one of the inks I picked up cheap at an estate sale a while back, along with Noodler's Legal Lapis and the as yet un-ID'd Diamine ink (which seems to to be a teal-leaning blue).

I actually pulled out my Pilot Metro, one of the first fountain pens I purchased, and put a cartridge in it. It writes really well and points to the fact we don't have to spend tons of money to enjoy this hobby.

Current lineup:

Lamy 2000

A bunch of others

That was my instinctive ink choice as well, first I got the same pen 🙂

I now have filled it with Platinum Classic Cassis Black, because it's wet enough to allow for IG inks.

Yes indeed, I think autocorrect got me, and I didn’t proofread my post.

Thinking about putting my L'Plume back into circulation, but I can't decide which ink, and I don't really want to supplant the Sheaffer...

Agreed.  Even then lower end Pilot pens are outstanding.  I have a Metropolitan and a Cocoon;  both good pens.
