Very nice pens @langere. 👍😀

What nibs are on them?

What inks did you choose?

What paper are you using?

That Opus 88 Harmony is a real standout!  😀👍

Ah, thanks for asking!  I try to use ink colors that are more or less close to the colors of the pens.

Thus:

Penlux Masterpiece Delgado "F" nib running Pelikan Edelstein Olivine

Visconti Kaleido "F" nib running Birmingham Pen Company Firebox

Delta Dune "M" nib running Colorverse Mariner 4

Opus 88 "F" nib running Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses

I use different paper, depends.  Right now, Mnemosyne, unknown notepaper, regular yellow legal pad paper and whatever the printer has at work.

And yes, the Opus 88 is also a great writer - really smooth, easy starter.

Using right now:

Jinhao 9019 "EF" nib running Birmingham Railroad Spike

Osprey Scholar EFF nib running Jacques Herbin Rouge Hématite

Visconti Opera Typhoon "B" nib running Pelikan Edelstein Aquamarine

Leonardo Officina Italiana "EF" nib running Standard Inks Seaweed

Do you get good shading with Firebox?  The swatch online looks impressive.

I've been auditioning Teranishi Taisho Melancholic Blue to see if it shades like Teranishi Taisho  Lady Emerald.... not really, but it's a great Teal Lovers ink.

Yes, there is shading, but not as much as the swatch suggests.  It might be because of the poorer-quality paper that I use.

Today it's been the Cordovan 51 Vac, F? nib -- still with diluted Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue.

My wife gave me a Pilot Vanishing point for Christmas. The rhodium plated 18k gold nib (broad) is super smooth, almost slick. Man O man, I love this pen!

Today it's been the Parker Vector Shrek series "Puss in Boots" pen, M nib, still with Robert Oster Bishop to King; and the purple Pilot Falcon, SF nib, still with Sailor Souboku.  The first was today's morning pages pen; the second was for paying some bills and keeping track of shopping expenses.  And signing a losing lottery ticket to put into the "2nd Chance" kitty at the grocery store down the hill (once a month they draw a ticket out of the jar and that person wins a $25 gift card which can be used at that chain's grocery stores and/or their side business gas stations).

Today I am breaking in two new pens that arrived this afternoon: Kawco Piston Sport and a Kaweco Sport in Teal.

The piston filler has a Medium nib and with the Kaweco Sport in Teal I am trying a Kaweco Broad nib for the first time

The piston filler is filled with Diamine Sherwood Green (I think my new favorite green), and the Teal pen is filled with Diamine Regency Blue, an ink I haven't tried in years but am really liking this time around.

I love Sherwood Green. Its lives permanently in my Nahvalur Nautilus Cehlonia Green.

How do you find the piston filler? Im dying to try one out. If only they push it into the Brass Sport which is my EDC pocket pen.
