What pen(s) are you using today?

Today I am breaking in two new pens that arrived this afternoon: Kawco Piston Sport and a Kaweco Sport in Teal.

The piston filler has a Medium nib and with the Kaweco Sport in Teal I am trying a Kaweco Broad nib for the first time

The piston filler is filled with Diamine Sherwood Green (I think my new favorite green), and the Teal pen is filled with Diamine Regency Blue, an ink I haven't tried in years but am really liking this time around.

Today it's been the Noodler's FPC Vulcan's Coral, flex nib, with diluted Noodler's Legal Lapis; and one of the black 51 Vacs -- the one that *doesn't* have a name engraved on it --  F (?) nibs, still with vintage Quink Permanent Blue in it.

Asvine P36 fitted with a Tom's Studio Pro-Flex nib unit with Zebra G nib. Finally found a reason to keep the P36.

Interesting. Does it work well?

So far today, it's been the Parker Vector "Puss in Boots" (from their Shrek movie tie-in series), M nib -- still with Rober Over Bishop to King.

Very well once you heat-set the feed for each nib. The wrinkle is that the nib will corrode if left wet, so it's best to pull it out and dry it between sessions - the nib is cheap and easily replaced but a rusty nib will leave crud on the feed. I've gotten into the habit of dipping the nib to start, after which the pen runs happily all day.

Today’s pen of the day is a Parker IM Pursuit with a M nib filled with Colorverse 75t Rocket Engine ink.
The ink bottle is teeny, holding 5ml of ink.

It's very cute. And grey.

Today's pen will be a Dark Brown Lamy Studio EF inked with Diamine Triple Chocolate.

Will work for pens...

That's a very bright green ink, does it shade like Lady Emerald?

It does shade nicely, I don’t know if it’s as spectacular as Lady Emerald, but I think it’s well behaved in my sacced pens.

We're on the road, so I brought a Platinum Preppy for journaling. It is smooth, writes a very fine line and is moderately wet. I don't normally post caps, but posting the cap on the lightweight Preppy balances it nicely.

Thank you all who commented on the Parker pen, and Colorverse ink.  The ink shades, by the way. Someone else here bought the Parker pen, included a photo, and off to buy it I went. I have one other modern Parker, another IM called Midnight Astral.

Writing with Jinhao 9019 on Cosmo Snow paper.

Big disappointment.  After trying the Lady Emerald, I thought the Teranishi inks were going to be shaders.  Teranishi Taisho Antique Black arrived and it doesn't shade at all.

A Teranishi blue is on route so maybe ....
