What pen(s) are you using today?

I'm using a plain black Sailor KOP with some very sheeny Sailor Shikiori Nioi-Sumire ink.  (I know I wrote Manyo but it's a Shikiori ink)

  I wish you luck. I just had to change out a shimmer from a pen that wrote just fine without any, so hopefully I can get the feed clear. I learned something new about the pen.

@Misfit  I’ve syringed ink from the top of a Jack Frost bottle without shimmer.

Even after I’ve cleaned the pen and changed inks, shimmer particles periodically show up. 😀. I don’t mind.  It’s like a bonus.

  It just needs to be clear enough for the ink to flow. I’m also one who appreciates random shimmer surprises.

Lovely pen!  But I got to try one today, and it's just a little too heavy to be comfortable for me to use (thus crossing a COUPLE of colors of Studios off my list....

Today’s pen starts either using new pens I got for Christmas, or just haven’t used yet to end the month and year. It’s the Opus 88 Constellation pen with 1.4mm nib my brother gave me filled with Wearingeul Atlas ink that my brother gave me.

  Oh, I see what you mean. My brain just added inks in there. Maybe next November we should do a red and green ink sample swap to increase our arsenal of holiday inks.

Good question. It’s a cheap pad I picked up in Lidl’s “Back To School’ promotion a few months ago. Adequate for taking notes with medium/dry pens, some feathering with wetter ones.  Bargain price of course. I went back and bought a couple more.
